We did a psych eval on her earlier in the thread.

She's thrives on cooking for guys because they don't care, as long as they eat.

Plus, they won't be as critical about the food.

Guys like us are like that.....The adage about getting to a man's heart is true....straight down the esophagus.

She's safe with 'her boys' because she gets the adulation from the guys, without the baggage.

I think we can figure out what that means.

P.S. the salmon quiche dish is real, I added the rest of the description because I was laughing too hard.

    Hell's kitchen begins tonight.

    -------

    It "grilling week" on TVFN.

I saw a Weber grill with the lid hanging on the hook on some commercial.

    I was pleased.

I don't get the cooking channel. Which may be a godsend.

I spend way too much time talking to the cooks on TV.

    ---------------

Is is me, or are the contestants getting more and more full of themselves?
I have to laugh when I watch the interviews and these guys start to pump themselves up as passionate/training all their lives for this moment.

The disadvantage of not being able to taste or smell the food is huge, But I cannot take these people cooking a peanut butter, salmon and pineapple quiche and trying to sell me on it.

I think i just made myself sick.

Hell's kitchen is on tonight and after the game I should be ready for a cooking show!

I watched Ina Garten yesterday too. Have you ever noticed that she entertains a LOT of men when her husband is not around. What is up with that?

Anyway, the show started out with her making breakfast for her husband, then off he went for a trip. Then she proceeded to make lunch for her card playing group. They were all men. Very strange.

I do realize, though, that this is all a set up and there are tons of people around producing the show.
Ina sure has a full life doesn't she? Her friend T.R. is a model. I saw his picture on the front of last Sunday's J.C. Penney's ad.

Richard, oh boy!! This new group on TNFN star is too much. I was not impressed with any of them. I love the voice of the lady from India(?)but the rest of them acted like they were in an acting competition instead of a cooking competition.

I was chuckling at cute little Giada being their mentor this season. Was that a punishment the network gave her, considering how much distaste she's shown of the competition in the past?

My brother said he saw Paula Deen at a Tampa grocery store a couple of weeks ago and she looked like she weighed 350 lbs. She was there to do a promo. Has anyone seen a current picture of her? Could it be true or was it what she was wearing??

I just heard that January Jones, the actress from Mad Men was involved in a hit and run accident.

Witnesses said she had been drinking.

    Get this,

She calls Bobbly FLay, who tells her to leave, JJ comes back about 1/2 hour later, w/different clothes and chewing gum....then talks to the cops.

    No charges were filed.

I was happy with the winner of Top Chef Masters last night, did anyone else catch it? I both liked the chef and his charity seems extremely worthy, too.

I was watching a show, I won't reveal which one, because I am embarassed to reveal that I view it RELIGIOUSLY, but they questioned the Paparrazi twist to the story.

They questioned the validity of her story because no one has come forward to shop around photos from the chase. Usually a photog will RUN to make a few dollars on a story like that.

Not to say that she wasn't chased, Just wondering why the photos have not shown up.

The AFTER photos of the crash were shown and the parked cars took some damage.

I think she was driving Charlie Sheen's car the other day?

I just finished Top Chef Masters.

Why can't I be a judge on that program?

Because everything I eat is good to me?

    -----------------

I figured out why I had such a dislike for Susur.

When he was talking about his first wife, it hit me.

He reminds me of a friend that I worked with.

He committed suicide by hanging himself in his garage.

He was a nice guy, popular and always good for a laugh.

Funny, I am still mad at him after all these years.

I'm sorry to hear that, Richard. That could tear anyone to pieces.

That guy reminded me of somebody but I could never figure out who it was.
