This is the dog that was found yesterday on Little Mountain Rd. with one eye. She is Tag # 789 at Gaston County Animal Control. She is described as very timid yet friendly. She jumped in the car of someone yesterday and lay down quietly. She is a black & white collie mix…she had some sort of collar but no tags. She weighs about 20 lbs. She will probably be considered unadoptable because of the eye, so after her 72 hours are up she would be scheduled for euthanasia. An ad is supposed to run in tomorrow’s paper… two of us called vets offices yesterday hoping someone would recognize her but with no luck. She is posted on the County Missing Animal Site.

Please let me know if anyone would be in a position to foster or rescue her if she is not reclaimed within the 72 hours – that should be either Thursday or Friday morning.
