As you may have heard, there was a series of storms that came through this area of the U.S. They have done a lot of damage and cost some lives.
Homes For Hounds is a non profit organization that is geared towards rescuing and rehoming racing Greyhounds. They are located in Waldport. There was a fire at the directors home and in the kennels, killing 15 animals. Nine dogs, eight of which were Greys and one other dog, and the rest of them were cats.
They still plan on being here in town for their adoption event this weekend.
