    Another hermit crab

    It's like an addiction.

Stopped by Meijer's today to drop off a perscription and while waiting, wandered over to look at the fish and this little guy was clawing at the glass.

What's one more itty bitty hermit?

He's small and peachy in color so I think he'll get the name of Momo.

He gave me a little pinch just after this second photo. Cheeky little fellow!

That puts the total up to 6 hermits and 15 pets total.

Ha Ha! He was there when I got this new guy. He just rolled his eyes.

Of course he said he doesn't mind the cold blooded critters because they don't make him sneeze.

Aww, he's so tiny compared to his bigger "siblings". Cute.
    Congratulations!

I've always wondered this... when hermits pinch you, does it hurt in the slightest?

It can hurt if they grab and don't let go, but mine have never drawn blood. Quick pinches startle me more than hurt. The pain is gone in seconds.

I think cat scratches hurt more than a hermit pinch.

Aw, he's a cutie! I know they are an addiction. I had six at one time, as well. Scrappy, Scooby-doo, Gilligan, Maryanne, Sheldon, and Big Joe. I love how you don't even need to tame them, they really do love exploring.
