Rest in Peace, sweet Lolly

I wanted to let you guys know that I lost Lolly last Friday, Oct 26th....

The details are too hard for me to discuss still. It all just happened too fast and too soon and I still can't believe she's gone. I never thought I'd lose her. I still look for her and I can't throw away her medicine because I think she needs it. She wasn't just a dog to me. She was my best friend and we had a bond that will never ever be duplicated. Our souls were connected and she understood every single thing I said. I don't know how to live my life without her there. I honestly do not know how to go on.

I just hope and pray that she wasn't in too much pain and I am thankful she was in my arms.

Oh, Aly, how sad!

But Lolly was such a spunky little girl, and blossomed so much under your care - with you, she became the doggie she was meant to be. The misfortune of her early life was wiped from existence by your love - and I don't know how many people ever got to meet the hysterical snarling monster that was Lolly at play that I got to witness so long ago in that Texas hotel-room, but it was a treat!

She will always, always, always be in your heart, that I know for sure. And tell her to go see my mom up at The Rainbow Bridge, as I am sure she'll have treats for spunky little girl dogs handy!

Aly, I had to look twice to make sure that I knew the "Lolly" we were seeing. Of course, it is your (our) Lolly. Could there ever be another? I am so very sorry. What a joyour life that girl had with you, though, all these years.
