There is a purebred Border Collie in Scottsville, Kentucky, who will have puppies any day now.

The pound will not let her come to Canada, and we could take her NOW.

Instead, they are going to spay her, which will kill the babies. And then they are going to kill her.

Tomorrow.

CAN ANYONE HELP? SOMEONE NEEDS TO HELP LOCALLY!
PLEASE! This is SO SO SO messed up!!!!!

OMG that is completly cruel! Can you find a Border Collie rescue am 100% sure they will take her in. I will try to research a rescue where they will take her and email them her pic and info.

We are a Border Collie rescue. There is a BC rescue closer than us that can take her, but now it's a matter of redoing transport sheet.

It is inevitable. They are aborting the puppies that are due to be born anyday now.

I have sent an email to over 20 Border Collie Rescues with a message and her petfinder link, thanks! By the way have you talked to the shelter? I have send messages to some Border Collie Rescues as well. With her link like i said. I just hope i wont get in any sort of trouble for doing so. Here is the message i sent:


Hello i have found a PUREBRED Border Collie who needs HELP ASAP. She is pregnant and due anytime and this shelter wants to spay her PLUS they will put her to sleep tomorrow the 21. PLEASE try to help this girl. The forum i belong to posted this about her and she needs help. HERE IS LINK TO PETFINDER, the shelter is in Kentucky.

I have no idea. It doesn't matter anyway. Fact is, the are killing the puppies. That's absolutely horrible.

No, she does not have a home to go to.. but she will be going into rescue and be fostered until the appropriate home is found.

Momma is safe.... and....

THERE WERE NO PUPPIES! The previous owner was contacted, and Momma had already been spayed and was actually not pregnant - just very fat!

So Momma is safe and will be going into foster care shortly!
