    Oh, Jesse, I do think you are all guy, but I won't tell if you want to admit to being a bit of a Mommy's boy too. Your *Gotcha Story* is a wonderful tale of good things that can come out of a bad situation, and I'm so glad it happened when it did. I know the years you and your mom have been together have been the best years ever for the both of you. It makes me so happy to think of the sweet life that you have. Thank you for sharing your story and for being a most wonderful Dog of the Day.

    What a cool fella you are, Jesse James. All decked out in that sporty hat from Tennessee. What a life you had before Mom rescued you from the streets. You could really tell some stories couldn't you? Thank goodness you've found the great family that you have and they are giving you a very good life. As your bio states, your breed is not 100% definite but whatever you are, you're a very handsome little guy!! We send much deserved congratulations to you today for winning the high honor of our DOTD!!! Please tell Mom to add some extra treats and kisses to your daily ritual.     Jesse are you a cutie! I am partial because my Alvin looks exactly like you! I know your Mommy can't say no to those soulful eyes! I know that you are not part daschund, beagle maybe, but you are definately part JACK RUSSELL TERRIER! Body type, coloring, spots on belly and from your personality I would say most definately! You should be spoiled, all animals should be spoiled for the unconditional love they give. Alvin wishes you lots of squirrels to chase....

    Hi Jesse, are you a cutie-pie, I am partial to you because you look just like my little guy Alvin. I would like to tell your Mommy though that you are not a dachsund you are a JACK RUSSELL TERRIER, your color, body type, markings (spots on tummy), face and personality are all JRT! I am glad you found a wonderful home to spoil you, all animals deserve to be spoiled for the unconditional love they give us. You are extra special because you chose your Mom to trust and take you home (not to mention the cat food)...lots of hugs and scritches...

    Your representin' your Mom's team like a champ in that stylin', sporty cap, Jesse! Oh, what an adorable boy you are, one "happy, chappy, desperado doggie!" Tough when you need to be, soft and mushy 'cause you want to be, right sweetheart?!

    I was so touched by your "welcome home story," your happy ending, Cinderfella tale of rescue, sweetheart! From a "hard knocks" life on the mean streets to La vida loca! Pups and their love for catfood, works like a charm!

    And thank you for reminding us all of the need for, the great rewards of rescue! The unconditional love you rescue pups grace our lives with is beyond priceless!!!
