    Thursday #231- Time to Fall!

Let's open up the back deck and watch the leaves turn!

I think some mulled drinks and oven baked goodies are in order!

I'll bake cookies if you'll make the weather turn cooler! It was 91 today, but it will cool down tomorrow.

    What kinda cookies you want?

    Dr. G,
Trade you a crisp for a mulled apple cider?

Tollhouse, and brown sugar bunnies (the cookies I bring to the Dog Park gatherings) and hmmmm .... chocolate crackles (best fresh from the oven and rolled in confectioner's sugar) - would that be enough?

No chai yet, bartender - the oven makes the kitchen pretty warm. A big glass of iced tea with mint and lemon, seeing as Thursday's food - and drinks - are hypoallergenic!

Sounds wonderful! I want to sit here and watch the leaves turn against the backdrop of a cloudless blue sky. Beautiful.

Some of you may find this hard to believe, but I had to scrape the frost off my windscreen this morning! Seriously! The temperature just PLUMMETED. So I will take all the warm things you have - mulled cider, tea, cookies straight out the oven, mitts ...

    falling leaves!

RICHARD, I'd rather sit on the porch and watch them fall, but in my job I have to clean the leaves when they fall! A mulled wine will hit the spot.

    Talk about weird weather,
a couple of weeks ago it was 110 degrees, than last week we had a rain storm and now it beautiful and around 90 degrees.

Doesn't feel like fall here. More like summer. It's a bit early for a mojito, though. Maybe an iced coffee.
