You trying to tempt me again Romance---lol.
How old were they in that picture---their ears have been up for quite a while now.
I just have to ask you this----are the pups on those wood chips that people use as horse bedding also, that's what it looks like, wasn't sure though. Would keep the pups nice and fresh if it is.

pups in the pictures were 3-4 weeks old. except for 1 pic and the pup was 6 weeks. most of my litter had ears erect by 4 weeks. and I use a mix of cedar and pine shavings in the box. it keeps pups sleeping and eating area fresh. it also is good and absorbant. better than newspaper. i use a kitty litter scooper thingy to clean up. the shavings act a little like clumping cat litter., so it works nice. I get it by the pick up truck load for free from hubby's boss each week...the shavings are a bi product of his company.
I do a complete change of all the shavings in the box every 2 days.

Thought it looked like that. The pups must smell so sweet with the cedar shavings, and it does clean up well. Lucky you can get them for free, horse people out here have to order and pay quite a bit, but it's worth it.
