    Maybe you could use a treat in the water or pool to get Bear to come in. Something really yummy like chicken and get Bear reaqainted with the water and enjoying it

    Beautiful Bear!!!

    What a great pleasure it is to meet a gorgeous Golden girl as our DOTD this morning!! Your story put big smiles on our faces. Our tails are wagging like crazy too. You're such a fun loving girl that knows alot of things and really enjoys her life. We hope you can regain your love of water someday. Oh how we would love to see your hula hoop trick. Destroying that snowman must have been downright hilarious!! Anyone can tell that you're a lovebug and the apple of your family's eye. Please tell them to give you lots and lots of big kisses today from us. We need to send congratulations to you too, and now, we need to alert our big nephew, Jake, so he can see you Happiness always!!!

    Hi there beautiful Bear! I just love that gorgeous, "golden" smile of yours, sweetheart! And you have every reason TO smile, don't you Bear? What a much love and cherished pup you are! I have to admit, my heart belongs to you Retrievers and you Bear personify all that is cherished in your beloved breed; your guardian is truly blessed to have a best friend in you! I'm sorry to hear you no longer enjoy the water, (those grooming sessions can be traumatic) but hopefully after some time and a little gentle coaxing, you'll be back, swimming your heart out! Until then, plenty of fun to be had with that hoola hoop! And don't forget, not long before the first snowfall!

    Congratulations to our most beautiful, most deserving honoree, Bear! I hope you and your proud people are enjoying a very happy Dog of the Day celebration! Hopefully too, your Mom will give you a big hug and kiss for me!
