Last time I was anywhere near a prickly pear I was picking spines out of my derriere. Please keep Mario away from them!

I'll take a LIIT, then another, then another, then another.......

My actual Thursday is going to be spent being nominated for a union office.

Now that I think about it, make that another, and another........

I think I may have left out "style" between the Mex and Corn!

No, no salt on the corn when served!! They take a stick like you find on a candy apple and shove it into the cob......a napkin and you are set!

    One MSC? DONE!

    LH,

LOL, you are supposed to peel and eat them! Not pocket them for later!

One LIIT and another and another and another and another and another.

By the way, do you have an approval rating? -

    DONE!

    Dr. G,
Nope, you have to sit with your kitty-Come on, you waited that long....

How's about a scritchie for the kitty?

    DONE!

MOFF, I had never heard that one!

    WOW!

    REDD,

Persimmons....hadn't thought about one of those in a while!!!

David, I think we can weld a wheelie bar to the rear!

    DONE!

And the issue with that would be?

Don't think for a minute MJ wouldn't be there too!

That looks a bit too exciting for this time in the morning. Why don't I just stand here with the first aid kit?

Don't you have to wait for the first frost to harvest persimmons? Well it's probably first frost somewhere, it's five o'clock somewhere and it's Thursdays so "bring er on" Mayo on corn? That's rather like mayo on french fries - blech. Jeepers creepers... guess I'll try anything once *twice if I like it*

Corn with mayonnaise and parmesan? I'm not sure yet whether that sounds good or not. Just a little olive oil and black pepper on mine, please.

Can this be a bee-free apple picking expedition? I'm allergic to insect stings.

lbaker, I LOVE mayo on French fries! I worked with a nurse who grew up in Wyoming and she got me started on that. Also mayo with just a little catsup mixed in. I don't eat French fries too often anymore, with or without the mayo.

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!

They have to be able to stay on it first. I can just see you starting that thing up and them hanging off the end for dear life.
RIP Lady, Thursday's won't be the same without you to cuddle with by the fire

C'sMom.. saw a lot of the mayo w/ fries in The Netherlands but never tried it myself. I'll stick to fries with vinager (boardwalk style). And don't worry about the bees - I always have my bee kit (deadly allergic myself). Besides, this is Thursdays and no bugs allowed Well, Mario sometimes tries to bug people but that's just when he's feeling extra foolish.

I heard on the news that the Old Farmers' Almanac is saying that 2008 is going to be a warmer than average winter -- so I wonder what that translates to in persimmon seed-speak?

Everyone! Join me in the chorus....

    Lyrics:

    Look for the union label
when you are buying that coat, dress or blouse.Remember somewhere our union's sewing,
our wages going to feed the kids, and run the house. We work hard, but who's complaining?
Thanks to the I.L.G. we're paying our way!So always look for the union label,
it says we're able to make it in the U.S.A.!

substitute the union of your choice!
