New Rocky and Emma pics (and an update on Rocky)

I saw Rocky and Emma again today, and I have to say, Rocky looked to me as if he's been declining a lot since I last saw him (last weekend).

As I posted earlier last week, he had a crisis and wasn't eating for two days, but even though his appetite is back, he's looking more skinny as usual. And Reinhold said he slipped on the stairs last night, and had problems getting up, was even whining when he tried to... Oh, I feel his days are numbered, and this is his last summer!

When I took Emma for a walk today, Rocky gladly joined, and he seemed happy and content as usual.

    Here are today's photos:

Great pictures, as usual. Both of them are beautiful. Emma reminds me quite a bit of my (rb) Echo. I'm sorry to hear about Rocky though. Poor boy.

Rocky and Emma are so beautiful! I'm sad to hear that Rocky is having so much difficulty. He is such an elegant gentleman and so loving with Emma. Please give him a gigantic hug for me

I'm sorry to hear that Rocky's heath declined. I'm glad that he was happy to go on the walk and it looks like he enjoyed it! I love Emma's expression in the close up.

    Thanks!

Yes, I think Rocky enjoyed the walk, even though he's very weak these days.

And Emma? She's just a beautiful young lady! And she's looking very elegant when she's running!

OH they are both gorgeous rotties! I hope they can find some supplements or something to help Rocky. Big hugs to him and Emma, both!

How sad about Rocky. He does look a little thin, but he looks like he's enjoying himself. Emma is a very pretty Rottie.

I always enjoy seeing those two. And just to let you know, I was looking at this thread at work, and a crowd formed around my computer, with everyone commenting on what a pretty girl Emma is.

    Thanks!

Thought I'd let you know that Rocky had a good day today. He was on a walk with my mother, Reinhold and Emma, and he enjoyed it and played with Emma a lot. They fought over a stick, and Rocky always won! My mother said he was really proud!

BTW, I told my mother that many Pet Talkers love Emma and Rocky, and how much they care about Rocky, and she was really moved.

I can see Rocky has declined, but you never know, he could still have many many good days ahead. His pictures always tug at my heart, we share our lives with them for such a short time. Emma has grown into a beautiful young rottie girl!

Two beautiful dogs. To me, Rocky doesn't look that bad but I don't see him frequently. If it is getting near his time, just enjoy as much time as you can with him. I hate to hear of his declining health. He sure is a handsome dog. Please give him some lovin' from me.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
