There are lots of sites on the internet that give lists of plants toxic to cats. Sometimes they use different common names for plants and I am not 100% sure what a Japanese Peace Lily is. This is a link to one site if you want to have a look Toxic plants but if you google "toxic plants cats" you will get lots of sites pop up.
Hope that helps.
As far as I know, all kinds of lilies are toxic and shouldn't be in a household with cats.
Never heard of a Japanese Peace Lily, but when it's related to the ordinary Peace Lily, you should be very careful:

BTW, I'm very sorry that you recently lost your Ripple. Did he die from toxic plants?

If it's a plant, my fur posse has to eat it. Why, I have no idea. So I have zero house plants. Might not want to take a chance, eh?

Just checked this aspca-website and found something about a "Japanese Show Lily" . Maybe this is the plant you're looking for? I hope not, because this one is even more dangerous:
Common Name: Japanese Show Lily
Scientific Name: Lilium sp.
Family: Liliaceae
Toxic Principle: unknown
Clinical signs: vomiting, inappetence, lethargy, kidney failure, and death is possible. Cats are only species known to be affected.

I have aloe that I keep small. All other plants are outside. Not just for poisons.
I can't keep catnip inside because the cats eat it into obilivion. other plants are dug up by Sams. Or they try to eat them and I don't want them sickl, either.
