You are indeed a beautifuly boy Luka! My greyhound friends didn't have the same colouring as you do, but we got to have them for ten years and we loved them so much. Your breed is so special; you are gentle, loving, and are happy to take every bit of attention you can get! We lost Ferrari a little over a year ago, and Ducati passed the year before.

I am so glad that you have a great home to go to, as many retired racing greyhounds do not. It is time to put an end to greyhound racing and the abuses these beautiful dogs are subjected to. If there were no more greyhound racing, there would be no more greyhounds dying in the desert with their ears cut off, or found in the Florida swamps in a small house where over 50% died before they were discovered. No one deserves to be treated that way (although now and again I feel I would like to do that to the abusive owners), and as long as people still attend greyhound races, nothing will change. Adopting is a great first step, and activism great second.
