I hope he doesn't take it out on the dog for this accident. The guy was
wrong to leave a loaded gun out on a table.

I'm sorry, but this story IS slightly funny. I mean, how many dogs can shoot people? I'm glad the guy is OK though. But I really hope he doesn't do something to the poor dog.

The real question is what kind of idiot leaves a pistol with a round in the chamber out in the open?

Lucas told MyFOXMemphis.com that she fears what her fiance will do to the pet once he gets out of the hospital.
I sure hope she gets the dog into ... protective custody.

Please, if your dog is arthritic look into getting it Elk Velvet Antler. Look up my posts on it, PM me, or look it up on a search engine; but please if you love your dog and want it to live many more years consider this option. I've seen so many posts on here about dogs needlessly suffering. I can't make a new post about EVA every time so this plea is going here. EVA also helps with other ailments such as anemia.

I guess the Great Dane will be topping the "Most Dangerous Breed" List now

I mean... any dog can take a bite out of you.... but shoot you?

    What a moron.

R.I.P my dear Sweet Teddy. You will be missed forever. We love you.

I think that she needs to find the dog another home before he gets out of the hospital!!

I agree! It's stupid that he would do anything to the dog because it is his fault that he left the gun out! Danes are big dogs. It's not like he can help his big butt knocking stuff over.

"He was always protective. I didn't think he would be like that."

Maybe the dog is trying to tell her something.....dogs have a very good sense of people. Obviously he is womans best friend.

I am sorry but his story made me laugh. This man has to be an I-D-I-O-T to leave a loaded gun ANYWHERE!!!!!!!!
