I have TWO bichons, Sugar is 10 and Lacey is 5.

Sugar is a Puppy Mill rescue dog, I just adopted her form Rescue last Deceomber. When she arrived, she was blind with cataracts. She had the left eye done Jan 29th and has full vision in that eye now. We are hoping the surgeon OKs the right eye in the Autumn.

Lacey joined us about a month ago. I found her at the city pound, city next door to me. She was matted, stinky, and marked as a poodle. She looks great now and what a sweetheart she is!

I also do bichon rescue, and I had 2 staying with me for a few days last week, before they moved on to their foster home.

A Rat Terrier was MY first dog.

( Had a german shepherd dog and a Pomeranian/fox mix when i was a baby and i remembered both. Also there was a GSD/lab mix that was a neighborhood dog and i was one of his favorite people. And then there was King. He was born before my RT, but i didn't rescue him from the neighbors until after I moved away from home. ... but...)

The rat terrier was the first dog intended for me that i got to call my own.

Please, if your dog is arthritic look into getting it Elk Velvet Antler. Look up my posts on it, PM me, or look it up on a search engine; but please if you love your dog and want it to live many more years consider this option. I've seen so many posts on here about dogs needlessly suffering. I can't make a new post about EVA every time so this plea is going here. EVA also helps with other ailments such as anemia.
