We have a visitor... *Update June 29*

Can you guess what it is?

It would be a Yorkie (aka Floor Mop in this house)! My older brother found him in a neighbours yard after a thunderstorm. Neutered, no collar, no tattoo... pretty nervous fellow. We're calling him Rocky for now. We let our little Ireland cousins name him.

He's a silver coloured Yorkie.. neat, eh? Our neighbours have two, so if we don't find his owner, he's going into rescue and they'll foster him. He sits, lays down, stays, and shakes a paw.. hopefully someone is missing him.

oooh, what a cute little tounge he has. I like the pic of him drinking water. Wow, thats sad someone lost a cutie like that. Sounds like he had been trained a little bit. good luck finding the human counter part to the yorkie

Yep, we are. First thing in the morning we're going to call the Humane Society and pound. We'll also call the vet offices in the area he was found, and take him to the area my brother picked him up from to see if anyone recognizes him.

What a cutie! I hope that either he can be returned to his family, or go to another family where he will be loved and cared for. When I first moved into the building where I live now, my neighbor across the hall had a Yorkie ... she called him Dorky. I thought she was kidding, but that was his name. Dorky the Yorkie. After Dorky's human dad died, he and his mom moved out of state to be closer to other family members. The people who live there now don't have a pet.

Jess, I was just wondering whatever happened to Rocky? Did you find his owners?

Yes, we found his owners! They were so happy to find him, and he was happy to be back with his mommy and daddy! His name is "Otis", and he bolted during a storm. They tried to give us $40, which I refused.

A few days later, we got a card in a the mail saying thank-you and $30. They're so lucky I don't know where they live!
