Some photos of Jess from this evening....cloud photos added..

I was up on the top fields with Jess photographing storm clouds and I decided to grab a few photos of Jess whilst I was at it. Quite a strange light with htose clouds present. There was a large dark cloud blocking out the sun but then a large white cumulonimbus on the opposite side reflecting the suns light.

Jess is a pretty pup. I love her distintive markings.

Ok, guys, I'll see what I can do. I said storm clouds but there weren't any storms when I took the photos although we had some rumbles earlier in the afternoon. These were just smaller less developed clouds compared to a fully fledged cumulonimbus. They were also losing their steam because it was getting cooler and the sky eventually cleared out later on.
They weren't the most spectacular clouds I've taken photos of but I got some that came out quite interesting. I'm surprised that somebody asked to see them really because people think I'm a bit strange for appreciating cloud formations haha and don't realise how great they can look when you capture the right moment.

I'll need to upload them to photobucket first.

    Right, here they are:

    Dark versus light..

    Crepuscular rays..

    A cumulonimbus in the making..

Here it forms it's anvil top

This one lost it's steam and dissipated not long after these photos were taken.

The other one blocking off the sun moves away..

Those are some great pictures of Jess. She has such expression in her eyes.

The cloud pictures are amazing!! I love looking at the landscape as well. I see the castle in the first one.

Thank you for sharing all of your wonderful pictures.

Thats the local church. It isn't a castle. We have a good castle about 15 minutes drive from where I am though. Our churches are ancient things compared with the wooden ones you tend to have over your way.

In the second, you can see Keppels column. A very tall monument tower clearly visible from the top fields.
Here is a link to a website about it, lol.

She is beautiful. Looks like a great place to take pictures, too. Love the 4th cloud one.
