Who says dog arent smart!

Duke, is normally a dog who rarely makes a sound. Well about a month ago he freaked us out by Baying his head off. Gotta love those houds! We quickly figured out there was a fox,a nd let Duke out to scare it away, as it was heading to our chicken coop. well this was about 2 am.

ever since then, Duke at around 2-3 am will bay, we wake up, and let him out thinking the fox is back. well we have not seen said fox since the first night!

I think Duke has just figured out how to get us up, so He can go outside at 3 am!!!

Jack realized that I ignore his 3am wake up calls..so he's trained my mother well and wakes her up every morning by jumping on her head, she really appreciates it
