Charlie went to the rainbow bridge (April 22/07). I had to have him put to sleep. His brave soul fought for his life but his body couldn't fight the kidney failure and the effects of the pain killer any longer.
He was by far the most loving little soul I'd ever met. I was so lucky to have found him. He gave me such joy, not to mention millions of bunny kisses to show me he loved me too.
I wish his pts experience would have been less painful. I wasn't impressed with the extremely rough procedure that it turned out to be.
At least now, he doesn't have to be force fed, no more subcutaneous fluids, no more medication or painkiller that made him weak, uncoordinated and unable to walk. He doesn't hurt anymore.
One final goodbye my sweet angel boy. I hope so much I see you again Charlie. Love mom.
