Ok, who would you pick to do a narrative story.. of an Outlaw in the Wild West?
Jesse James, Billy the Kid, or Bonnie & Clyde.
I am having trouble picking one.

I didn't realize that Bonnie and Clyde were in the wild west. So, I guess my pick would be Jesse James.

Bonnie and Clyde were not 'Wild West' outlaws. Weren't they on their little spree during the depression?
Jesse James is a good choice because there is so much information about his family life and so many layers of motivation you could play with (just look up his time in the military, for example). But what might be even more interesting would be to write from the point of view of his brother, Frank, or even one of the Youngers who formed the James-Younger gang that Jesse James is so famous for being a part of. Kind of a right-hand man's view of the legend, and then you could offer some insight and history while still keeping up this iconic, mysterious aura that surrounds Jesse James...
lol, sorry, in case you couldn't tell, I love writing, and historical fiction is one of the genres I find the most fun.
Is this a school project or just for fun?
Does asking if you are writing historical fiction just for fun make me a complete and total dork?
Ahhh thank you!
I am going with Jesse James.
It is for a Narrative-Illustration I am doing for my art class.. I am starting on it in 2 weeks. It'll be interesting..
