Molly Demonstrating How to Eat A Rawhide Stick...

I took these photos a few days ago of my puppy Molly chomping on a rawhide stick - she's making some funny faces that I thought you folks might enjoy! She always cracks me up when she chews on these things because I am so used to my other odg, Lucy, who devours them incredibly fast. Molly takes her time and works them around in her mouth, pauses for water once in a while...I swear she does it to torture Lucy, who by that time has been done with hers for 15 minutes and is staring longingly at Molly's lol

    Anyways, here are the pictures!!

    AWWW

I dont recomend feeding rawhide though. Especially to a puppy and one that eats it really fast. They could easily choke and die. And its not good for their intestine.

Yeah, we don't feed it to them very much, it's too salty to give them very often. Molly really takes her time with it though, and Lucy chews it up really well, she doesn't swallow any big pieces, she just chews it damn fast We also almost always just give them the little rawhide sticks, which are very small.

Having had to stuff my fingers down a pup's throat to retrieve one of those rawhide sticks that he had tried to swallow whole - I stay away from them. Yes, there is rawhide in my house, but now it is ALWAYS the big ones with the knots on the end.

Wow, that's pretty scary. Neither of mine have ever tried to swallow them whole before, or even big pieces of them.

I am in LOVE with Molly!!

She is so freaking cute, can I have her please?
No.. I don't think it gets cuter with her and Maximus. I want to plant smooches on both of their noses.

It's great to see Lucy, too, he ears look like velvet.

I can send you my adddress if you'd like to send Molly to me.

No wyou just KNOW that, with those sharp puppy teeth, Molly could devour that if she wanted to! But no, she must Savor the Flavor and swirl it aroun to get the taste on each and every taste bud! Right in front of Lucy, natch!

Kfamr, I would send her there, but then who would keep Lucy in line? Who would shred the toilet paper when we forget and leave the bathroom door open? Who would Maximus cuddle with?!

And Freedom - I sometimes really think that she's doing it 100% on purpose, just savoring it so that Lucy has to watch while she eats hers lol - she's a little brat.

I've got an idea, just send Maximus and Lucy along! Lucy would match my two tan pups, Molly would match my two black and tans. I won't have to worry about evening the colors of my pack if you just send both.

Does Molly like to steal the empty toilette paper rolls from the trash, and eat them too? My little Mufasa does!

Molly will shred pretty much anything that she can - she likes to take whole rolls of toilet paper from the bathroom andshred them all over the floor. Or, pieces of regular paper....or socks....pretty much anything She also really likes eating through trash bags and finding out what's inside. We're working on that with her lol

Freedom, yeah....I suppose she is a typical little sister!

That happened to me too with one of my dogs that is now at the RB although that is not why she is there. She had bitten off a fairly small sized bit from a huge raw hide bone and tried to swallow it. I also pulled a very slippery and slimy piece of rawhide out of her throat as she was choking. I have never bought one since.
