I love owls. There is an old abandoned coal mine tipple in my town, and great horned owls live in it. They are awesome to watch. And the are HUGE ... one swooped down in front of my car as I was driving down the road and I was shocked at how large they really are. They sometimes sit in the trees in my yard at dusk, one on either side of the house, and "talk" to each other. When the windows are open in the summer, it is wonderful yet spooky to hear huge owls hooting in stereo through your house.

Thanks! It's cool watching the owls. We have a couple of horned owls that like to roost on our antenna. Needless to say, it's pretty bent now
    Too many pets? What's that?
