    Frankie Out and About

I took a day off to trailer my car to the shop and when I got back I took Frankie for a long awaited hike. We've had bad weather the last few weekends, so haven't been out much.

    Frankie, look at the camera!

Ok, now with the eyes open!

Do you think this is funny?

    Guess so!

    Lots more to come:

Is it a bird? A plane?

    No, it's super Frankie!

Ok, so I lied. It really was a plane, and a CHP at that:

And lastly, some more on the way back down the trail:

And now it's time to say goodbye... until the next hiking thread

    Hope you enjoyed.

These are so fantastic shots! I just love Frankie's silly ears. They are so cute.

LOVE the pictures on the rocks. She looks like quite the expert at hiking.
I see the big back pack in the background - is that yours? I bought Kiara a backpack tonight for when we go hiking/camping in May. I'll make her carry all the stuff.

Thanks! Yeah, the backpack is mine. It's actually a fanny pack that works great for carrying two waters, mine and hers, my camera, and a snack for both of us. It also has zippers on the pad that hold my ID and keys.

I keep wanting to get her a pack, but haven't found one in my price range that I like. Let me know how Kiara's turns out!

Thanks! Frankie was climbing pallets when she was a tinny puppy. She does much better on rocks than I do. A couple of the pictures she's about 8 feet up on a rock that I had issues with. She just jumped right up and waited for me.

This one is my favorite! She looks gorgeous on those rocks. That is a beautiful place to hike! You're making me jealous, I want to hike, but its all mud right now.

The first few reminds me of Nebo, he often just refuses to look at me, and when he does, his eyes are closed. Nebo has a backpack, its by Outward Hound...I bought it several years ago, I can't remember the price--$30-$40 I think? But it's been a great pack, I'm mean, I make him carry his own water. Keep posting the hiking pics, I love them!

Yup, someone cemented them in and built a ramp. They literraly are on the edge of the peak on the highest points. They look straight down into the valley and the way they are positioned makes it seem like you're lined up with the road in the distance.

I didn't have the guts to actually sit in them with Frankie attached to me.
