Ok... took some pics of Frankie boy today. He's been progressing really well. He does the "elevator butt" thing when getting scritchies and will head bump my hand as well. He's such a sweet and handsome boy! He isn't ready to be out and walking around while I'm there yet, but he's getting to that point.

Yes, this is the boy who peed and pooped on me! Isn't he gorgeous?! He's got this medium length hair, and it's bunny soft. He's got the fluffy ears too, lol. He's warming up, and doing really well I think. Loves pets and brushies and scritchies. I'm just letting him go at his own pace. When he purrs and does his little elevator butt thing, and kneads with his paws, I know he's feeling safe!

Oh, he had the name Frankie from the girl who rescued him. I keep thinking I need a Johnny now, lol. I loved that movie!!!

I was holding him in my lap today, and was doing massage and brushing him. He was just purring up a storm and kneading on my leg like crazy, lol. Then he actually stretched out, stood up and walked cautiously across the room to get some crunchies!

I was amazed. He ate and sat there, and then crawled into the other carrier and curled up.

Slowly, but surely, he's getting there.

What a gorgeous little sweetheart! Frankie seems to be settling in quite nicely and seems happy. With time and lots of love he's going to be the purrfect companion for some lucky hoomin!

I hope he learns to relax and becomes a major lap kitty... that will be fantastic for anyone who adopts him. It's just so unfortunate that most FIV+ kitties end up in the no-kill shelters or foster homes forever. I love my fosters, but I can't adopt all of them unfortunately...
