7 days....

Well PeeWee lost the fight this morning. In the evening he became rather lathargic and refuse to eat, soon to become extremely pale. I tried what little I could here at home, wasnt dehydrated or anything, so I first did a little Karo and water, later a dab of strait karo... No improvement. So I sat up the entire night holding him. I had to put him down to get the kids ready for school. That is when he passed, between 7-8am. In the afternoon he had been just fine and bright eyed. Here are pics of him each day, including the ones this afternoon and late in the night (or morning..4 am)

awwww....I am so sorry. you did the best that you could. Peewee will be playing hard at the rainbow bridge. RIP Pewee!

I knew that he had a long road ahead, and there was no guarantee, but its still hard. Maybe only been 7 days, but it seems like more with the care you put into it. I became very attatched. He made it a long ways for a baby I never thought would live through the night. All the way to open eyes and even some tiny purrs... If he had made it I already decided there would be no way I would be able to give him away. Unfortunatly you cant save them all, and I knew that when this began. At least we have 3 very healthy siblings.

Awww! Poor wee one, rest in peace at the Bridge! You gave it the only chance it had, if you hadn't been there, he would have never known the human touch or love. He didn't leave this world unloved or alone.

So hard to hear that you lost such a sweet little kitty. I completely understand how hard it was for you I had a litter of 7 and 2 passed in transport and 3 here with their momma and then I took momma and the remaining kittens back to the humane society and they chose to put them to sleep because they wouldn't eat. Its aweful to have to go through that I swear in the back of my mind I always had this little ray of hope that they would make it. You only know them for such a short time but you get so attached. So sorry for your loss The kitten knew it was loved

This is so sad.My tears are running down my face.I'm sooo sorry for your loss.At least he had you and your love.He wasn't hurt by a preditor or any other horrific thing like that.You did your best and that's all you could of done.I'm sorry
