There were dozens of ducks here!

Today me and my sister (Husky15) were out shopping and we happened to drive pass the pond by the road. And we saw many many ducks! Like I didn't count them but they were alot Anyways we went home quickly grabbed some crackers and the camera and headed back down to the pond. We were happy to see the ducks were still there.

So we got lots of pictures, and the ducks loved our crackers They all looked so healthy and fat for the winter. Just in case no one knows, where I live in Nova Scotia the ducks don't fly south for the winter, they stay all year round just for the fact that it doesn't get cold enough that they have to leave. Anyways here's the pictures!

Great pictures you got there. It was definitely cool feeding all those ducks. I like the picture where you just happened to catch one in flight.

They are really really pretty! I love ducks.. these pictures remind me of a place about an hour from here where you can feed loads of ducks & geese. I need to go there again sometime.

Anyway! Great pictures, thanks for sharing. =]

Wow what a sight. They are so gorgeous. We could never get that close to any around here.

Thanks so much everyone! Yes, I was very surprised too of how tame they all are. They wouldn't even move out of the way for my car lol. When we got out of the car they all started waddling towards us (which was kind of scary since there were dozens of them lol) So I figure there are people like us that go down there and feed them. They are so tame that I figure if someone were to stay there for a long enough time, they could probably catch one for a pet. The ducks were always only about 4 feet away from us which is pretty close for wild ducks.

Maybe I'll go visit them again sometime soon
