    Happy New Year!

    I hope everyone had a nice evening and was safe in their celebrations.

    Andy and I stayed in and watched movies. I made dinner, we took a nap, and woke at 11:30 p.m. just in time to count down the ball drop. It was quite peaceful, with Logan in my lap, Chipper curled up next to Andy, and Zam and Kia laying nearby. The whole family in the living room (sans the reptiles of course) bringing in the New Year.

    Andy and I smooched, toasted with champagne, and then someone outside either shot off a shotgun or lit fireworks because there was this huge bang that sent the cats scattering and the dogs to the window to investigate.

    No more surprise noises after that. Pretty quiet here in the complex.

    We then watched a few episodes of Metalacolypse and now we're off to bed soon.

    This made me smile. I am wondering how many zillion times this same scene was played out across the world tonight....cats scattering and dogs to the window.

    I fell asleep before the ball dropped but the neighbors set off some fireworks which woke me up in time to celebrate that the New Year was here.

    Happy New Year to all of my PT talk friends. I hope 2007 is good to us all!

    We both fell to sleep before Midnight ~ Our neighbors must have had fireworks ( We heard that loud noise, then some little pops)

    I said, "Happy New Year "out loud to my husband, sort of giggled, then went back to sleep

    Jackie investigated for while until Daddy told her that it's Just some Party Hounds~

    Wishing everyone a healthy, prosperous, and Happy New Year!
    We went to dinner with a friends, came home & watched tv. Toasted with Egg Nog...and watched the million people at Times Square in bewilderment . I guess standing in the middle of a huge crowd just doesn't appeal to me, but they looked like they were all enjoying it.
