    The splinter in my heart has been pulled.

    My little Splinter passed away last night, leaving a hole where she had been. She was so sick, and she finally was able to let go.
    I am so sad, but I am relieved for her.

    My little freckled girl...

    I'm so sorry. I use to have a hedgehog named Gizmo. He was so precious, and when he died it broke my heart. I still think about him sometime. I'm sorry about your sweet little girl. She'll be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge.....................

    oh no, just found out about this.. I know how muccch you love her!!

    ((((I'm so sorry)))) steph, take many hugs as you can and rest in peace, sweet splinter. I know she left you with her heart filled of heart, that's no question for sure. I remember the first week you got her and I could tell she was already much loved.
