Another cat hanging around, This time missing 1/2 a leg..*PICS*

Ok. So I am feeding another one this time. She is female, with grey and a little orange (may be dirt). She ran right up too me. Very lovable and very hungry! I am more concerned for her than the other cats, because she is missing half of her leg. It cuts off right below her elbow joint. She seems to wobble on it a little when she is walking, but does use it, just at an angle. The Nub is about 2 inches.

I am worried about her because 1, she is unfixed. 2, she only has three legs. 3, because it is getting down into the lower teens in the next few days here.

I dont know what to do. Take her in, or leave her with a carrier outside? It is pouring rain right now. Vets are closed until Monday... UGH! I am so tired or irresponsible people owning cats. I have a good feeling it is that crack heads cat .. But I am not sure.

This kitty is skinny(moreso than the pics show), with fleas, and ear mites

I just have my hands tied. I AM FAR BEYOND MY LIMIT! Hubby says so

Take her in, or leave her to get cold or hurt? Jeesh.. Stressful is not even the word.... Can I really take on ANOTHER cat?

I must have SUCKER written across my forehead in cat language...lol

    Here are a few pictures:

I don't think anyone has to answer that question for you at all. I am sure you are probably going to get a resounding chorus of Take Her IN's. And I agree with that chorus 150%. Take her in. She needs you and you will not let yourself rest if you leave her out.

Maybe you can at least fix a nice warm bed outside in your yard for her? A big plastic storage box turned upside down (lid side down) with a hole cut out and warm blankets and straw inside. That would be great!

I have a barn, like a 6 horse stall barn. It has straw in it from the horses previously here. I just dont know. I am not the best home for her. I live in a small 2 bedroom house. 8 cats and 2 (Andy and Amos) that I bring in nightly. I just dont have the funds for this (esp with Christmas coming) and I feel so badly. I have no more extra rooms to put her in, other than that one I keep A&A in. They could share, but I saw Andy picking on her earlier.. Popping her from the steps.. I dont know. I just dont know.

    She is beautiful msg

She'll probably be fine in the barn. And she does need spaying. And she does need a home. And she probably loves you already. And she is very pretty.

She's adorable. I'm sure she'll do fine in the barn and it'll help keep her much warmer too.

Unless you do something about her, you are going to be more stressed out when she has kittens and brings those to you for help. She's had a tough time, coped with losing part of her leg, she deserves a helping hand. You could apply to IMOM for help in cleaning up her leg, and the local shelter will spay her at a lower cost. If she has to live in the barn until you buy a bigger house, she'll be in a much better position to survive that experience if spayed and checked out by a vet. A styrofoam house inside a barn with hay will give her the warmth and shelter she needs.

She is very pretty and appealing.

I agree with Lizzie, I think to get her fixed is probably the most important thing to do. Then as long as she has somewhere warm to go and some food I'm sure she'd be happy. She's beauitful. Does she belong to somebody? Cause her leg looks like it's had surgery and it's obviously done properly?

What a cute kitty. I'm sure she'll be thankful for whatever you can do for her.

We know that you will do the best that you can for that Poor Cat.
Is there a no kill shelter than can help with the costs of spaying, and foster her out.
That Little Cat must have known where you were, and that you would provide food and love.

Oh gosh, how I can relate to what you are going through right now.
Is there any chance that you can set her up in the barn for now, until you can contact some shelters to see if they can help you with her?

You are such a kind-hearted person and bless you for caring.

You do what you can do! The fact that you care and are feeding her is a good start. Maybe if you explain the situation to the vet or find a lost cost spay/neuter clinic you can at least get her spayed. She should be fine set up with lots of straw and shelter in the barn. That way you can keep an eye on her, and she will get plenty of food.
We all understand what your going through. I really think she will be fine outside because she is already used to it. The storage containers that Kim mentioned is what I use and they work great. I stick a big wad of straw in and push my hands into the middle to make a hole. That way the straw is all around the outside areas of the container, like insulation.

Bless you for caring so much. It's heartbreaking isn't it?
