She just thinks she doesn't like to be petted. Eventually she'll realize there's no use in being so pretty if you don't take advantage of it.

Look at your precious face!!!! Mousse, you are wonderful! Our Polar Bear is a little shy like you with the petting thing - only on her terms and not very frequently. She even looks a bit like you (see below). You obviously have a wonderful human mom who understands and loves you when you need it - that's great!

Mousse, You are very beautiful! I think what you are is a Snowshoe, or at least part Snowshoe! Snowshoes were bred from Siamese and American Shorthair (although I did notice your long-haired tail). I have one, and she LOVES to eat, just like you. Stay beautiful, sweetie!
