    Good place for dog coats?

Hey, can you guys reccomend any places for good-quality dog coats? I'm looking for a really thick one, but can't be fancy at all (my dad would, literally, kill me ) I know she's gone without one her whole life up here, but she's getting older, and probably should have a few little luxuries. Like a nice warm winter coat, for these cold canadian winters.

It also makes it difficult, because there aren't any places around here where I've seen them. So she can't try them on. She has the rather unusual sight-hound shape.

    P.S. ( I need a place that will ship to Canada )

    Any suggestions?

Try Dr.Foster and Smith, or JB Wholesale or even Petsmart. All are on the web in a search.

You've got sighthounds, you should know... Do the coats at those places tend to fit the chest-n-belly shape?

Wow, those coats all seem to be really small sizes...

Yea Let me look- tell me how thick you want it?//edit//- my guys where a raincoat especially at shows and it was perfect attaching a link and this was JB Wholesale- I use the regular yellow rain coat worn by the pug in a XX large for guys, But the one worn by the boxer is also for a deep chested dog.
I agree- its hard to find coats for these guys!

edited above post. The rain coats are lined with just a light fabric- very light. Just enough to insulate. Usually if they dont get damp they stay warm enough. If I had a grayhound I would use the one worn by the boxer.

I'm not really looking for a raincoat. I'm looking for a really thick winter one.

Its cold here too but granted my guys have a coat. If its too much bulk in the front it will make the heart too hot. They need insulation on the back. You know your weather better than I do obviously- either would do, however I am concerned that one might be too much. Then again- she is only going out for a few minutes. A dog can overheat in a coat as I know you know already.

I know alot of grayhound people that makes the coats but those are really pricey. Also remember- she doesn have alot of mass to cover either- its just deep.
