    I give thanks everyday for....

My life - getting through cancer
    My family
    My friends
    My job
    My home
    My cat
    Pet Talk

...and too many other things to list here.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

I'm thankful for so many things:

    life & health,
    family & friends,
a home, a job, and food,
    and my precious furkids...

But I'm especially thankful this year that my husband was able to deal with his heart problems- we didn't know about his condition, and he could have dropped dead at any moment. I'm very thankful we had health insurance. (I hope that doesn't sound trite or corny, but after seeing the bills, I really am grateful!) I'm thankful that his new job is working out well.

I'm glad that there is a Power much much greater than me, keeping order in the Universe.

i've been thinking about what i'm grateful for, at one point, i was listing 3 things daily, sometimes it was simple like the coffee was perfect tasting this morning, to alex only had 3 seizures today, to, well i didn't slap anyone at work. i know i'm a very richly blessed woman. i sleep warm, safe and flat everynight. my critters and i have food, there is gas in my car, my bills are being paid this week, and i have enough to share with others. i have hands that work, a mind that usually works and there will be some time this week to go to the park in the middle of the day and play in the sunshine. i got everything, and i know it. thanks g-d.
