    Some pictures of our kitties

OK, since it's a rainy, nasty day out and I am currently at home from work because of an awful accident I had yesterday (I was driving to a meeting a couple hours from home for work, and I took my husband's Chevy Trailblazer b/c it was supposed to be rainy weather and we thought that I would be safer in the rain in that - I ended up hitting a puddle and hydroplaning not 10 miles west of our house - I hit the concrete barrier on the side of the road and flipped the truck over completely, landing on the roof of the truck). I was lucky to make it out with all limbs in tact and only a few scratches/cuts on my left hand and one on my nose, but I was mentally shaken. I am sore today, as the ER docs said I would be, so I am on pain medication and muscle relaxers for a couple of days. I took today off, but will probably go to work tomorrow. Now we have to figure out what we'll do for a second vehicle, but I actually have had time to work with the photos I put on Imagestation a little more. So, here are some pics of our 6 kitties. Enjoy!

These are pics of our new 3 kitties getting along well from the start - just call them the 3 stooges!

Here are a couple of group shots:

    Bailey, Leila & Claudia:

    Mikey & Bryan staying warm:

The most amazing pictures from the past few weeks are these 3 - our crazy Leila, who really doesn't like the new guys too much, has taken to laying on Brent's lap while Mikey is on his lap. It was a wonderful moment.

OK, that's all for now. I hope you enjoyed!

Boy, someone was looking out for you young lady. I'm so glad that you were not seriously hurt. I pray that you feel better real soon.

What a bunch of adorable cats. I enjoyed seeing them again very much.
Don't let the others know this okay, but Claudia has always been my favorite one out of your crew. I just love that sweet girl.

Obviously I must have missed this, but who is that sweet adorable looking kitty, Bryan. He has such beautiful markings and the sweetest face.

I'm glad you're OK. Even if you're belted in, you're going to get banged up a little with a rollover (beats the alternative.) Wonderful photos! I love the black and white ones, especially.

I am so glad that you are okay from your car accident, and that you weren't hurt any worse than you were. Hydroplaning can be very scary, I have heard..... and it sounds like it was horrible for you!

Great kitty pictures! Your gang are so adorable!

Hi everyone - I'm feeling fine after a few days. I actually returned to work on Thursday and did well so I went in Friday also - I was only a little sore Thursday, but yesterday and today I haven't had anything other than a sinus headache. I was very lucky.

By the way, for those of you who missed my post a couple of weeks ago, Bryan is our 6th (and that's it - just 6) kitty. We were going to possibly adopt Bryan and his brother Brandon back when we were adopting Mikey and Vincent, but we didn't want to break the two of them up - we also didn't think we could handle 7 cats. Bryan was so sweet that we thought he wouldn't have any trouble getting adopted. However he was past the baby kitten stage and was in his middle- kitten months, so the younger kittens kept getting adopted, and he kept getting passed by. His brother was adopted and he was still there, and we just loved him and kept thinking about him - so, on Oct 20, we brought him home, and he brought a nice balance to our house that was lacking with 5 cats. We have a theory that our house needs to have an even number of cats, like it used to when Leo was alive, to be at least mostly peaceful. I will say that Leila is still mean to the new ones, but she's mean to all of us, really, from time to time. Bryan spent his first couple of days in our extra bedroom away from the others, and they didn't seem to have a big problem when he got to be out among them - not at all like Vincent & Mikey. Anyway, he's a very adorable, talkative, water-loving (seriously, he just plays in water - it's really funny), medium-haired/with a fluffy tail, 8 1/2-month old boy. He's great!

Anyway, glad you enjoyed the pics. Here are a couple more that show promise for the newbies - Bailey and Vincent have taken to hanging out together:

SO glad to hear you are better after that very scary accident!

These pictures are wonderful! You ahve a knack for catching them either totally alert and ready to pounce, or completely relaxed and at home. I did think Bryan was going to help with the dishes until your update that he loves water. OK, now I know why he is hanging out at the sink!

Great shots, thanks so much for posting them!
