    Dog Fancy magazine

This month's dog fancy is bursting with good stuff: (June 2001)
The featured breed is a labrador retriever
there is an article curbing nipping and biting, recipe for skunk smell remover,(which we discussed earlier, I believe) Weight loss regime, breast cancer in female dogs, and a complete guide to supplements.
    Check it out

Gotta get me a subscription! I already get Cat Fancy (accidentally let it run out) and now I need Dog Fancy since little Bella came. The skunk info would have helped years ago. A skunk sprayed my miniature poodle, Ashley, through a picket fence years ago!

I used to subscribe to Dog Fancy, but I had a problem with it..I could never throw out the old copies. Ended up with stacks and stacks of magazines. Finally bit the bullet and dumped them, but was that hard!

That's funny! I can't throw them out either. I don't know where I'm going to stick the next couple ones, I'm running out of room. Sometimes my dog trainer gives me a couple Dog Fancys or AKC Gazettes and I can't imagine why she wouldn't want to keep them!!!

I was away on vacation and took the magazine, and on the plane I noticed in the "Bark Back" section in the front Sara W. from IL wrote in about rally obedience....and that person has a rotweiller named Carl....IS THAT YOU????

In my area the library accepts donations of magazines. If they do not need them, they are put on a give away table and eagerly snatched up and carried away by another dog lover. Makes it easier to get rid of them or I'd need a room devoted to pet magazines. Also, some elementary schools like magazines for children's projects.

You guys too??? I tried sorting them out by which article in what issue I wanted to keep, then I decided that "you never know" so I bought cardboard magazine holders and keep them for 2 years. I just can't help myself either! This Lab issue was awesome!

Labloverkeb...I had a similar problem with another magazine and I called and they just extended the expiration date to another month. Never had a problem with Dog Fancy (I'd throw a fit too!) but try calling them! It doesn't solve not getting the issue but you get an extension.
