    Two in one weekend :(

We are having to put two animals to sleep this weekend!

Saturday morning I woke up and sweet Ebony wasn't able to walk. She was just dragging her back legs when I could even convince her to move and she was refusing food. I took her to the vet and she had a blood clot that was blocking all blood flow to her hind end. The Dr. said treatments are iffy, take awhile, the cat is in a lot of pain and the problem normally comes back in a year. We put her down on Saturday.

Cinnamon, our 15 yrs old Golden Retriever, is becoming incontinent. She has had 4 accidents in the last month- she has had that many her entire life and she was always sick when that happened. Her arthritis is getting worse where hubby is having to help her on the stairs just about everytime. She is also getting more mini seizures. She can't hear, can't smell, and can barely see. It just seems mean to let her go on. We are putting her down today.

    What a sad weekend.
    Chris

That **is** hard. I'm sorry that you're all having to go through that.

oh gosh, bad enough to have to lose pets one at a time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Your precious furkids Ebony and Cinnamon will be whole and healthy again, playing together at the Rainbow Bridge. (((hugs)))

I'm so sorry to read about Ebony and Cinnamon It's very hard to let them go, but try to think that now, they are not suffering anymore. I'm sure they've had a good life with you and you will keep them in your heart forever.

Rest in Peace, Ebony and Cinnamon.

I am so sorry To have to part with one is hard, parting with two is so much more painful, but at least the two that are going to the bridge can make their trip to the bridge together as friends.

You and your family are in my prayers during this sad time
