    I have a wild Visitor!

My neighbor came to my house and told me there was one of my black ducks hurt by her mailbox. So I rushed over to find a Wild duck hurt by her mailbox, thankfully not one of mine. So I picked up this duck and took it home. It seems to have broken leg. So I contacted the local Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, and they should be ppicking up the duck shortly. He is a gorgeous bird, a White Winged Scoter, a migratory bird from B.C. Canada. Here are some pics I took of him!

Here are some Pics i got off the web!

    Maggie,

What a cutie! We had a beaver on our patio a week ago.

Thanks for saving the cute duck.

Wow, he is stunning! I don't think I've ever seen one of those before. I have to thank you for helping this little bird out when you had no obligation to him!

That bird was so lucky to have you find it. It is probably very grateful that you have rescued it and now it can heal and get better! It's very different looking from normal ducks too! Have a great day quakers! Hope your leg gets better soon!

Wow he/she is a very beautiful duck. I've never seen one with those colors. It's good that you were there to rescue the poor thing.
