Door-to-door visiting on walks

My 11 months old peke cross has a very strange problem. when we go on walks, she often tries to go into people's homes! she would try to go into the fence (if the person has any fence, or just run right onto the pavement to their door UNLESS I pull her back!

could somebody help me on this!? or is this behavior normal? thanks!

This is your dog giving you a pretty big compliment really! The dog has learned that houses are full of good, fun, interesting people and things and is keen to find out what is going on in there! Simple training to get the dog to walk properly on the lead is all that is needed.

I guess thats true, cuz sometimes we go to my friends house in our walks and my friends usually give her treats!
