Hello everyone! Remember me? It's Marcy the black & white dwarf hamster! Guess what my momma just found out? Well she was looking me over and saw that I didn't have any toes on one leg (my right back one) and it was smaller than the others. But it doesn't get in my way! Momma says I'm a very special girl!

This is Sarah. I just saw yesterday night she had a stubby leg like a pirate! My special little girlie I don't have any idea how she got it, but it definetley does not get in her way!!

My friend and I were talking about dwarf hamsters when I still had mine, and she stated that she once had two females housed together, and one chewed off the others toes on one foot. If Marcy was housed with others in the petstore (like all are), then it might have happened then, though it doesn't always happen.
Just a possibility.

Thats why it is so important to make sure you have suitable cageing^

As long as your hamster si fine then you should not worry.
