This time he used a pattern in a book as Ty will not hold still for a face shot.

I design most of my own patterns as pets differ as much as people do. I can do generic patterns but most pets have their own 'special' traits. As far as having my own store, I can't justify the cost of business overhead with the potential income. Most items made I usually break out even or less. After pattern design (unless can be used down the road), wood cost, blades, machine maintenence, ect. Then if you add a store at $2500 - $5000 plus utilities. I have enough overhead with my hardwood flooring and e-commerce businesses (sometimes over $40,000 a month).
I also do portraits, people and pets, make Chrismas ornaments, puzzles. I have alot of fun on the scroll saw when I can make the time. Thanks for all the comments and support.
