I got a crowntail betta(update with pics)

After I found out Tugboat died in the night I was very depressed.My grandparents and I were going out so I asked if we could go to Petsmart.I fell in love with a crowntail there.His name is Jester.I miss Tugboat she was a wonderful fish and I will never forget her.

I know that you miss Tugboat, but I also know that it helps you heal a bit when you know you've given another betta such a wonderful home! Jester must be gorgeous. Any chance that we get pics?

I currently own three bettas myself... I do miss my other fish that I have had and I am sad to say that I have never actually seen crowntail bettas in person. I think I have only seen and owned veiltail bettas. I do feel sad for you about the loss of your beloved Tugboat, I recently lost my beloved Bruiser but I do have pictures of him to remember him so it does help.

Beautiful coloration... maybe I should checkout my local petsmart and see what they have .... might just end up getting another betta but with three already I think I have enough to keep me busy for a while...

I put Jester in a 1/2 gallon tank.He is swimming better.I put a nice bit of salt in there.

I'm sorry to here about Tugboat, Nikki. Jester is so colorful, I love crowntails, their fins are just beautiful. Congratulations on the new addition!! He is simply stunning.

such a pretty fish! i've never seen a crowntail at the petsmart here! i hope they get some in sometime. so far all i can find are VT. which is just fine. i love them just the same.
