Newest family member, and two you haven't met yet

Just thought I would share a few pictures of our newest family member, Selena, a 3 foot long red tailed boa (sorry for the orange color, it's her heat lamp and I don't have any nifty picture programs to correct it=)):

and our guinea pigs Ruby and Oreo...the kids took those so they aren't the best hehe.

Thanks Jess for the great sig of my kids!

I hope they all don't play together!!! I do love snakes. When I was in the USMC I always played pool at a certain club cause the bar maid owned a Boa. She used to let me wear it around my neck for good luck. It was a great distraction to the other player.

Selena is beautiful! That pen is just great, she looks like she's really enjoying it already. The piggies are really cute too, it's about time I got to see them . Again, awesome job on Selena's setup. What a lucky snake!

Funny you should say that LOL, just yesterday morning I went down and found her out of her cage, which at the time was a 55 gallon aquarium with a screen top I had duct taped down=x. My husband as building the one you see in the pictures but she had somethow gotten out one corner and was draped over the cabinet, halfway to the guinea pig cage when I found her! She is now padlocked in LOL. That was scary. We just got her last weekned from my brother, his fiance wouldn't let him keep her, so the aquarium was just temporary. Glad they are safe now=)

Thanks for the compliments on her Jess, I'm really excied to have her, she's very sweet.

Thanks Jess for the great sig of my kids!

Yes he built it but I got the dubious job of interior design for her LOL. She seems to be happy though. My brother had her in a box with dirt and water and a bare bulb! (idiot brother).

Thanks Jess for the great sig of my kids!
