Some (not many) zoo pics *Update-tigers freed* :D

    .. one photo manipulation.

Just a tiger and some Meercat pics I'm afraid, I took movies which filled up my cards. They - the movies - lost a lot of quality after being converted to avi and put together in movie maker. Oh, well, maybe I'll get myself a new camera by next visit.

I took a number of tiger pictures but this one is one of two I like best.

.. and I think they will be a lot happier once I've finished letting them out of their cage.

One of my very favourite creatures, the Meercat

I LOVE meerkats! I am so looking forward to seeing them at the zoo next week when Barbara and Siegmar come to visit!

Thank you for letting the tiger out.....I am sure he is much happier!

Great shot of the tiger! That's cool how you got the fence out. I'm so lazy, I still haven't really tried to learn any photoshop tricks like that. Heck, I haven't even installed it yet on David's computer. Soon!

Great pictures Chris. Does this mean the weather finally cooperated and you had another visit to Chester Zoo? Will I be seeing these cute little fellas when I come over next June??
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

It sure did slick, it was a beautiful day. Will you be seeing the Meercats? You most certainly will ... can't wait to show them to you.

Beautiful! Looks better without the fence. To be perfectly honest though, that fence doesn't look like it would keep a determined tiger in. Is there another line of defence?

Sure, cropped and lightened. The dirty glass makes it fuzzy though ... makes me want to get a cloth and wipe it!

Nope, just a waist high wooden 'barrier' a few feet from the fence.

Does seem scary with a tiger pacing a few feet away doesn't it? Wasn't interested in us at all though, it was the goats in the pen behind us that had all his attention.
