Does their sac go back into their body? How long does it take?
I know with my rabbits the skin went back. Charlie still has a sac, he was done in March.
prior occupancy... it may take a while for the skin to shrivel up. Just checked my little critter. He was done at 6 months, and nuttin (appropriate word) is left.
Kodie was neutered at 5 months old and his didnt go all the way in. Its still there a little bit. It should start going down.It might take a while so just be patient.
I agree. I've only had like one male dog though, and I was 6.. but I've seen other male dogs.Originally Posted by sammy101

You know, I was about to post something like this in the cat section concerning my boy Soni. He was done over three months ago and still has the same sized sac. Sometimes I get freaked out and start thinking they didn't neuter him. That's partially because he, um, got a little bit of experience before we got him neutered and he still mounts our female. I have heard that they can/will still mount after neuter if they've been experienced.
I posted this earlier. Sam got nuetered in early april and it's still there.

the sacs dont go in, they just shrivel to a smaller size
