    German Shepherd Lovers...

Any German Shepherd Lovers out there? Please share pictures and stories of your German Shepherd Dog and tell everyone why you think they're an awesome breed.

These are my two best friends Kyah and Kimo. Kyah (Black & Tan) is my 4 year old female and Kimo (Black & Red) is my 2 year old male. I couldn't imagine life without them. Kyah enjoys frisbee and agility classes, while Kimo is both my certified Service Dog and registered Therapy Dog.

I used to have GSDs and some mixes. Leather was the best dog I ever had. However, working around dogs really brings out the dog's bad qualities and I'm afraid GSDs have quite alot of qualities that just don't do well with me. I still love them, but I don't like being around them at work and I like to show my dogs, and I don't like the look of show GSDs, I feel that breeding them for lower hips is ruining them.
    I've been BOO'd!

I hope this works... Got a pic of my former adopted baby "Annie". I had her only a few days but what a couple of days! The last I heard she is now been trained as a "rescue dog" and saving lives! Way to go girl!!!

    German Shepherd Lovers

Oh what wonderful stories and pictures you all have. I have been raised around German Shepherd's so they are pretty much the only breed I'm familiar with. However, I'm a member of our local dog park and I've been fortunate enough to meet several different breeds of dogs these past two years. German Shepherds are still my favorite, but I definitely adore every dog on earth! What in the world would we do without the unconditional love our dogs give us each and every day? I truly hope that I never have to find out. Thanks to every one of you for replying to this Thread, please continue to share your pictures and stories because I definitely love to hear them.

I love German Shepherds. When I graduated from college many years ago did 3 things: bought a red VW, got my first teaching position, and bought my first dog, Shiloh. He grew into a most handsome dog weighing in at 125 pounds. He was the first of many dogs to come.
