    We, in Massachusetts, of course have had plenty of water for the last few days, but I am glad for you anyway!

    The water is husky approved! Earle was first to try it out! We have a pump running all night to get the sand and such out.

    It's getting clearer already! It's also picking up flow a bit. About five gallons a minute now!

    I just paid the bill, which although massive, was less than I was anticipating. Now we just have to get own pump in it and piped to the house and we're set!

    That is just wonderful! Having your own water must provide such a sense of security for you and your doggies. Congratz, Congratz, Congratz!

    We so take having water at the touch of a finger for granted here. The entire city was panicking when we lost water during the big blackout a couple of summers ago.

    Wooo hoooo!!!!

    Might be a dumb question but.....what, if any, special precautions do you have to take to make sure nothing freezes during your eternal winter? I know my parents had to insulate their pipes.....but that was in the house. As far as I know, nothing special was done for the well itself. However, they are only in Wisconsin, which is North of me here in Chicago, but is WAY far South from you!
