What's your favourite kind of leash?

I just ordered a new leash for Tango as Morgan chewed up Tango's other one and was just wondering what type of leash you prefer to use? I *always* use leather, I'll never use nylon. When I walk Tango, I usually have her on either a 2 1/2ft or 4ft leash depending on where we're going (in really busy places, I use the short one). The new one I just ordered though is 6ft, as I'd like to compete in obedience someday with my future Toller and I'm pretty sure 6ft is a requirement as that's waht i've been told by dog trainers and websites say that also. Since it's leather, it will last a looong time so I thought I might aswell get it now to use for Tango and then gice it to my next dog when I get her. I always use 4ft leather leashes with the others. I also have a rubbery sort of leash that I use near water if I don't want the dogs off leash. So, what do you like best?

I am using a thick, 6 foot nylon leash for Bailey right now. I will be getting him a leather leash and collar once he's a little older.

6 foot nylon. I've tried others but ALWAYS come back to it. Actually, it was Layla's first, that's how old it is. It was supposed to be magenta but it's faded to light mauve

I'd have to say nylon because it's the only kind I've ever used!

I'd have to say leather , because, for me, it's a lot more comfortable in my hands... but I do like nylon leashes, too!

Nylon, I have a leather and a metal leash but I like good old nylon.

4' nylon. I can' not stand anything longer, and flexi leashes aggravate me because of irresponsible owners who use them. Not only that, but I just don't like them. I like to have control of my dog while walking them in case something happens I want to be able to quickly pull them back to me
