It's 10:30am where I am at the moment, and for the past half an hour there's been a lot of banging and scratching from the attic. I've been sat here listening to it for ages. At first, I thought it was something on the roof, we very occasionally get buzzards here and maybe one had landed on the roof, or maybe even the peacock was back But no, it's in the attic. I've listened to whatever it is in silence and I'm pretty sure it's a four legged animal. How the heck it got in I don't know. There is a huge population of starlings around here, so a couple of years back we had some special grates fitted to the roof overhang to prevent them getting in, and I'm pretty sure there's no other holes anywhere else.
Well, whatever it is is running around loads, and chewing things I think. And there's also plenty of crashes as it's knocking things over. I'm guessing it's a squirrell, but it sounds like one BIG squirrell. Unless it's a ghost!!! I just hope whatever it is gets out by itself, I wouldn't want it to be stuck, do you reckon there's anyway I can help it get out? My parents will go mental if it's broken and chewed stuff up there.
