    I thought this painting was beautiful. I thought it showed the loyalty, compassion and feelings a dog shares with his true master..



    It's called The Old Shepherd's Chief Mourner and was painted by Sir Edwin Henry Landseer.

    So touching and beautiful. I've heard of dogs passing away shortly after their owners, due to a broken heart. I remember reading that FDR's scotty died within the same week. Unbreakable bonds.
