Happy birthday, dear Michael! Big Boston cuddles (and some nice buttered lobster) for you on your purrrrrrrrrthday!

Paulie is a cutie!
I never heard of a cat being allergic to Laxatone, but it's not the best response to hairballs, because it coats the inside of the intestine and keeps cats from being able to...
My Smudge is itchy-allergic, and with the help of the vet I've worked out a multifaceted approach that keeps his itching to a minimum:
1) Grain-free food (he loves Indigo Moon kibble!)
2)...
I have a friend who bellydances under the name Badriya, which she tells me means Full Moon...

Now he's sick to his stomach. :( Doc says discontinue his antibiotics; he's probably had enough and that's probably what's disagreeing with him. It's very weird for my little munchkin to not have...
Smudge is in good spirits, and loves his amoxicillin Tuna Drops - I have to squirt it into the palm of my hand for him to lick up, as if I try to squirt it right in his mouth, he gets so enthusiastic...
Sometime the smell of catnip can boost a cat's appetite.
Mangia, bambino! We're all counting on you!

That's $500 of surgery you're looking at there, plus meds, plus no end of anguish. :( No matter how apparently simple the job, go to a...
You could try a hypoallergenic diet. Look for "limited ingredients" cat food that doesn't have grain in it, which is the cause of many feline allergies.
Also, chlorpheniramine has been proven...

There was a big winged ant wandering around the apartment a few days ago. Smudge followed it, sniffed it, pawed at it a few times - then decided it was boring and walked away. I had to whack it...
Smudge is the Royal Cheese Taster. He has to make sure that I only eat the highest quality cheeses! He also makes sure that the chicken is cooked to perfection. He'd like to be more helpful, but...
Yep, definitely sounds like a question for the vet. If his anal glands give him a hard time, chances are his supracaudal glands do too. If he hasn't been neutered, that could be causing the problem...
Maybe her gums itch? Try giving her dental treats like CET chews.
